Lori Pecorilli

Lori Pecorilli has been a successful serial entrepreneur for 21 years, marked by her involvement in 5 start-ups that are all still fully operational and successful. She started her career in fleet and asset management with her husband and business partner, Tony, in 1996 when they created Latium.

Lori is the cornerstone of the Latium, and leads its strategic planning and coordination to ensure the implementation of Latium’s vision. Latium’s expertise is its ability to put together, manage, and execute projects that have complicated logistical components involving assets, vehicles, equipment, and transportation, bringing in additional, specific levels of expertise when required. Lori not only drives continual improvements in customer service and vendor relationships, but she ensures that, at the end of the process, customers have succeeded in building capacity for themselves in ways that integrate new, modern technologies and practices. This is Latium’s vision – and it applies just as equally to the ecosystems of Alberta’s energy sector as it does to the ecosystem of an agricultural project in West Africa.

Lori was nominated for the Celebration of Achievement Award through the Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) organization in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, she was a finalist for AWE’s Upsurge Award.

Tony Pecorilli

“There is never a problem but always a solution”

Tony is a successful serial entrepreneur with 21 years of experience in the fleet and asset management industry.  He grew up in Edmonton, Alberta where his first self-started business was an autobody shop.

In the early 1990s, Tony and Lori wanted to develop a new way of putting processes and procedures into place so that energy transportation companies could improve efficiencies and manage their assets better – a gap they noticed no one else was filling.  In 1996, they began Latium with an initial focus on energy transport and equipment but realized quickly that they could grow out to other sectors such as agriculture, municipal, construction – any sectors where assets, vehicles, and equipment need to be managed.

Together with committed partners, Tony is leading Latium to enter new international marketplaces, such as West Africa – the realization of a passionate vision that was entirely his. In 2016, Latium was a finalist for the Leduc Regional Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award.

Mike has been creating enterprise-class solutions for the past 16 years, with a specialization in migrating business applications to the web. Over the course of his career, he has worked on a wide range of projects – from spatially aware applications to system integrations that improve user productivity to mobile apps – and was a key member of the team that brought Latlogix to the web. Mike favors an agile approach to development which ensures a rapid and flexible response to changes in customer needs.

Brian Huculak

Brian is a Project Manager and Safety Auditor with expertise for both offshore and onshore asset development. With more than 20 years in the field, his areas of expertise include total loss management integration, health & safety management systems development, job site safety inspections and incident investigation expertise, among others. Brian has developed safety programs for five Suncor Marketers and conducted multiple Enform COR Audits. Brian’s operations management skills include logistics, maintenance, and delivery.
